Following the recommendations of the Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control, we are restricting all visitors from the facility, and tightly managing all access to our facility to protect our community.
This was not an easy decision, and we understand that connecting with family members is incredibly important. There are a variety of other ways you might consider connecting with them, including telephone, email, text, or through Skype or Facebook. If you would like assistance with any of these methods, please reach out to us and we will do our best to help. Our Therapeutic Recreation department is working to implement a program to allow you to video chat with your loved ones.
Our facility is following the recommendations of the CDC on prevention, including following strict handwashing procedures, and in some circumstances, wearing gowns and gloves when interacting with residents who are sick. We also are staying up-to-date with the CDC recommendations as they are updated. In addition, our facility is in close contact with the local and state health department and are following their guidance.
